Bougie  Babes was founded by New York hair stylist, Queen Boone. Already a successful hairstylist and salon owner, Queen relocated to Los Angeles in 2010 to pursue her dream of becoming a celebrity hair stylist. She achieved just that by working with stars such as actress Sherri Shepard & The singing sensation H.E.R  Salt & Pepa Egypt Criss  Tanisha Thomas, and actress Meta Golding, just to name a few. She has also worked on tv shows movies and videos. 

As a hair extension specialist, Queen has used a multitude of hair brands but grew frustrated with the increasingly poor and inconsistent hair quality being offered by certain distributors. After many disappointments and minor set backs, Queen ventured to India in 2014 in pursuit of top quality virgin hair. Her journey through India wasn't an easy one with so many low level distributors peddling dropped hair being revamped and sold as virgin hair. Well, her India sojourn was not in vain as WinkLuxe Hair Couture was able to secure distribution from one of India's largest distributors of premium quality virgin hair.
